IDPH Issues Health Advisory

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has issued a Health Advisory regarding potential contamination identified in certain ICU Medical IV tubing sets. Multiple healthcare facilities have reported visible particulate contamination, including small black dots within drip chambers and tubing components. At this time, no patient infections or adverse events have been reported.

Another update includes changes made to the Surgical Cricothyrotomy, DAI, and Restraint procedures.
